Kimono dressing

Kimono dressing event held every Thursday daytime since 2024.
The events are held to cater to the individual enjoyment of each guest, such as making last memories of leaving Japan after check-out, helping to accelerate the excitement of the journey ahead while waiting to check-in, or deepening friendship by joining in with friends who have become good friends at the hostel.
The kimonos are vintage kimonos that were used as street clothes and give you a sense of the old Japanese lifestyle. You can enjoy taking photos with the Sky Tree in the background as sightseeing spot, or at the back of the street with a downtown atmosphere.

Souvenir workshop

Souvenir workshops are also held to make kanzashi and lucky charms.
Mizuhiki is familiar to Japanese people as a
wedding gift bag, but few people have actually made one. The workshop will use colourful mizuhiki and outdoor cord (paracord) to make lucky knots for these ornaments.
Levels 2 to 6 are available, and guests make their wishes while talking to each other.
The material for the kanzashi is kimono leftover fabric. If you try on kimono on sametime ,and use same fabric of kimono and make your own kanzashi , it will surely become a special souvenir for you.

Collaboration

Depending on the season and timing, collaborations are also held with tea ceremony teachers, hair and make-up artists and photographers. You’ll be lucky to meet them.
Come and make friends and create memories.
